Santa Fe Agent Hugh BRYDEN and Mrs. BRYDEN received word early this (Wednesday) morning that their daughter's husband, John NEFF, had been killed in an automobile accident in Emporia, while returning to his home near that city Tuesday evening. Mr. Neff had been employed as baggageman at the Santa Fe depot and left that place about 8:30 in the evening and just what caused the accident and his death we have been unable to learn as we go to press. Mr. Neff was between 32 and 34 years of age and leaves a wife and four children, one son and three daughters, ranging in age from three to eleven years. He was the osn of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Neff who live on a farm near Quenemo. Mr. and Mrs. Bryden left at once for Emporia to be with their daughter.
