William B. NESTER was born in West Virginia March 13, 1851 and died at Topeke,
Kansas, March 11,1928, at the age of 76 years, 11 months and 28 days.
He was married to Alberta SCHONOVER in 1873. to this union four children were
born. Bertha, Elza, Melissa and Archie. Two are left to mourn his departure,
Bertha ROCKEY, of Topeka and Elza NESTER of Scranton. 
Mr. Nester joined the Methodist church when he was 31 years old and was an
active member of the Asbury church for a number of years.
He came to Kansas in 1881(1884?). He moved to the state of Washington in 1897
returning to Kansas in 1908(1918?). He was in poor health nearly ten years
before his death. 
Funeral services were held in Scranton last Tuesday.
