In 1883 she came to Paola, Kansas with her parents and cared for them until their death. She was united in marriage to Andrew MARKLEY in 1886. In 1896 she came to make her home with her brother, William Ringer, in Paola, Kansas and she cared for him and his wife during their last illness and death. For the last eight years she has made her home with her sister, Margaret MARKLEY in Scranton, Kansas. At twelve years of age she was converted and united with the Methodist Epsicopal church, and has been a faithful member during those many years. Her last years have been accompanied by severe affliction and pain, and death came as a release form physical bondage. Out of a family of nine children, five sisters and four brothers, she is survived by one brother, Charles Ringer of Paola, Kansas, and one sister, Mrs. Margaret MARKLEY, of Scranton. Funeral services were held at the M.E. church, Tuesday, April 10 at 10 a.m. conducted by Rev. Basquin.
