The many friends of Mrs. E.M. SAPPENFIELD in this community were greived to
learn of her death Monday evening .
She passed away at her home at Osage City about nine o'clock after a long
illness, which she had gone through so cheerfully and bravely. Mrs. Sappenfield
had spent most of her life in Scranton an dwas known and loved by the entire
community. Sympathy is extended to the breaved family.
Short funeral services were held Wednesday at the home at Osage City and here at
the Methodist Church, followed by interment in the Scranton cemetery.
