Miss May Savage Dead.
The death of Miss May SAVAGE occurred at her home in Lawrence on Wednesday of
last week. She is survived by her sister, Miss Emma Savage of Lawrence, a
brother, Frank Savage of Dilley, Oregon, and a nephew, Forrest Savage of Oregon.
The announcement of her death is of local interest since she had often visited
in the home of her cousin, the late H.D. SHEPARD. Also, Mrs. Frank Savage was
formerly Miss Minnie CHARLION.(??) The Savages came to Lawrence about 1856.
