Electrocuted While Working On Street Lights. Danny SHERRIN was electrocuted about two o'clock Sunday afternoon while working on the city light lines near the Methodist Church. A short had been noticed in the line the night before, and it is not known just what voltage might have been on the wire at the time he was working. He was possibly killed almost instantly, but the Topeka fire department first aid car was called with the faint hope that artificial respiration might help. A.W. SHUBERG and Charles SNEED drove from Topeka to Scranton in 18 minutes and administered artifical respiration and oxygen for twenty minutes, but to no avail. Danny was 27 years old. He leaves a wife and 18 month old baby, one sister and four brothers. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church Wednesday morning. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/osage/obits/s/sherrin371gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
