Marion Smith.

Marion SMITH was born in Putnam Co., Mo., March 12th, 1861. Departed this life
May 20th, 1923, age 62 years, 2 months and 8 days.
He moved with his parents to Kansas in 1875 and has resided in Osage Co., most
of the time since then. He was a believer in an all ruling Providence and Savior
of the world.
He was married to Jane WHITE, Feb. 22nd, 1886. To this union 6 children wre
born. Two dying in infancy. He leaves to mourn his loss one daughter, Mrs. E.B.
White, three sons, Alva, Marion, and Manley, one brother, and four sisters.
Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church, Rev. E.T. Lacey
officiating and interment made in the Waverly cemetery.
