Thomas Dies. Mrs. Kate B. THOMAS, 76 years old, the widow of Edward E. Thomas, former employee of the railway postal service died yesterday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Violet Thomas HARTMAN, at Belton, Mo. Mr. Thomas died seven months ago. Mrs. Thomas came to Kansas City with her husband in 1870. Each was prominent in Masonic circles, Mrs. Thomas having been a former matron of Mendias chapter Order of Eastern Star. The golden wedding anniversary of the couple was celebrated June 1, 1925. Besides Mrs. HARTMAN, Mrs. Thomas leaves two other daughters, Mrs. Emma Thomas COYLE, 4216 Locust Street and Miss Catherine Moore Thomas, Seattle, and one son, Edward E. Thomas, 2648 East twenty-eighth street. Eight grandchildren, also survive. Funeral services willbe held at 2 o'clock Monday at the Forster chapel.--Kansas City Star. Mrs. Thomas was an aunt of Mrs. Cora MIDDLETON and J.B. Thomas.
