One Of Scranton's Oldest Residents Dies Suddenly.
Mrs. Geo. YOUNG, one of the oldest if not the oldest resident of Scranton passed
away Thursday morning following a stroke Monday morning.
Monday Mrs. Young went out to wash the cream separator and fell. Miss Bertha
Young went to call her brother after getting the elder lady on the lounge, when
Mrs. Young said that she would be able to get up in a few minutes. Those were
her last words. She never regained consciousness until she passed away quietly
Thursday morning.
Funeral services will be held from the Methodist church in Scranton Sunday.
