Inscriptions are badly eroded and very hard to read. The center stone is the 
family plot stone. Headstone to left is the marker for Clark J Wing. The stone 
on the right is the headstone for Clark's wife Mary Higgins Wing. The gravesite 
is located on the West side of the cemetery near the fence line. 

Comments:
Clark J Wing born 9 June 1837 to Jason Wing and Sarah Cary in Rochester, 
Vermont  Married Mary Higins 11 January 1859   Died 5 March 1898    Mary E 
Higgins Born 6 Nov., 1839  Died 25 Nov., 1906   Pleasant View Cemetery 3 & 1/2 
miles east of Melvern KS  Children are Edith, Fred, Elbert (Bert) & Clark J Jr. 
Edith married Jacob Humphreys and later married W.A. Langston after Jacob's 
death.
