Coffman--Higgins.

The marriage of Miss Helen COFFMAN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.F. Coffman and
Mr. Cubert HIGGINS, son of Mr. and Mrs. P.N. Higgins was quietly solemnized
Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, December 30, at the home of Rev. and Mrs. A.D.
Rice at Dwight, Kansas in the presence of a few immediate relatives. The bride
is a graduate of the Scranton High school with the class of 1927, after which
she attended Business College in Topeka. Helen is a charming, capable girl, and
Mr. Higgins is to be congratulated upon his choice.

The groom has farmed near Scranton for the past several years and is a splendid
young man who is well known and liked in the community.

Mr. and Mrs. Higgins will make their home on the farm. Their many friends join
us in extending best wishes for their happiness.
