F. Graham of Peterton, to Mr. Alexander A. Lavey of Topeka. Father Degan read the beautiful and impressive ceremony of the Catholic church. The bride was attended by Miss Lucy Lavey, sister of the groom; the groom by Mr. Ed Graham, brother of the bride. Only the relatives and few friends witnessed the ceremony. The Tri-City Herald (Gas, KS) Tue May 9, 1905 pg 3 Alex Lavey Injured Alex Lavey of this city, who is employed at the Prime Western smelter in this city suffered a severe accident yesterday morning while at work, that will lay him up for some time to come. He was moving a charge car used in hauling ore and in some manner accidentally slipped and his hands which were near the bottom of the car also slipped and cut two fingers of his right hand and it gave him so much pain that Dr. Rennick was called to ease his suffering. The fingers were in bad condition and amputation might become necessary but is not sure this time.
