Wedding of Helen Moore and Raymond Briggs Announced.
Mrs. P.G. MOORE, announces the marriage of her daughter, Helen Olive, to Raymond
O. BRIGGS, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Briggs.
The marriage took place at the home of Rev. and Mrs. J.C. Lane, in Oskaloosa,
Kans., on September 28. Immediately after the ceremony the young couple took a
short wedding trip to the Lake of the Ozarks.
The bride is the only daughter of Mrs. Moore and the late Mr. Moore. A graduate
of Harveyville high school with the class of 1939, she is completing her second
years as teacher in District 104.
Mr. Briggs also graduated in the class of 1939 at Harveyville and has since been
engaged in farming. They will make their home on the farm north of No. 110
school house the coming year.
