Mr. Kahrs came to Burlingame when only one year old and grew to manhood here. He was educated in Burlingame schools. Off and on since he was sixteen years old he was employed in the Ben Hallock Meat Market. A few years of the time of his residence in Burlingame he engaged in farming on the Emmett Taylor place northeast of town. Four or five years ago he went to Topeka to become head of the meat department with the Murray I.G.A. Grocery Company. Mr. and Mrs. Kahrs are at home at 1816 Clay Street where Mrs. Kahrs had everything ready for them to begin housekeeping.
