Thomas J. Andrew
birth 8/8/1844
death 6/8/1888
While living in a sod home in the area with his wife and children, a neighbor 
came over and shot him.  Before dying, he told his wife to take the children 
and go back to MO because KS wasn't anyplace to raise the children.  The man 
who shot Tom was adjudged crazy.  Tom was buried in Brown's Grove Cemetery and 
his wife was buried at Pulaski, IA 28 years later.  They were my great-
grandparents.
