This is the headstone of Adopolph Adolphus Bandt.  When WWII started, he said 
he never wanted to be called by that name again and changed his name 
to "Duffy".  This is the only name I knew my grandfather by and named my own 
son after him, Duffy Robinson.

Additional Comments:
 Duffy Bandt's parents and siblings were long time residents of Phillips 
County.  Several of his siblings left Kansas during the land rush and 
relocated into Colorado.  Several returned later.
