Clifton Alva  Padget

DODGE CITY - Clifton Alva Padget, 55, died April 12, 2006, at Wesley  Medical 
Center, Wichita.
 
He was born Aug. 15, 1950, in Dodge City, the son of Clifford and Evelyn  
Woodall Padget. He was a 1968 graduate of Dodge City High School. A lifetime  
Dodge City resident, he was a purchasing agent for Broce Manufacturing for 10  
years and later for Harsh, both in Dodge City. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the 
 Vietnam War.

Survivors include: a son, Michael Padget, Manhattan; a daughter,  Shannon 
Goltz, Aurora, Neb.; his parents, Dodge City; a sister, Glenda Kraft,  Dodge 
City; and five grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m.  Monday at Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral 
Chapel, Dodge City, with the Rev. Dick  Robbins presiding. Friends may sign the
register from 9 a.m. until noon  Saturday at the chapel. There will be no 
public visitation, and cremation has  taken place. A private family inurnment 
will be at a later date.
Memorials  may be sent to the Padget Grandchildren Education Fund, in care of 
the funeral  chapel, 1901 North 14th, Dodge City, KS 67801.

Clifton Alva Padget, 55, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at Wesley Medical  
Center, Wichita. He was born Aug. 15, 1950 at Dodge City, the son of Clifford  
and Evelyn Woodall Padget.
 
He was a 1968 graduate of Dodge City High School. A lifetime Dodge City  
resident, he was a purchasing agent for Broce Manufacturing for 10 years and  
later for Harsh both of Dodge City. He was a songwriter and enjoyed playing the  
guitar, singing, woodworking and playing golf with his son and friends Glen and 
 Ron.
