D. Thomas, who was called. Wokal had been suffering from asthma, and had sat in a chair most of the night, going to his bed about five o'clock that morning. He was dead when his son, C. L. Wokal, went into the bedroom a short time after that to pull down the window blinds. The deceased was a hardware merchant in Cuba for years, and moved to his son's home four miles north of Cuba when his wife dies in 1911. Another son, Joe, lives in California.
