S/O Orpha Taber of Wichita, Kansas and the late Claus Hoffine, he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blodgett and had served in the Naval Reserves. On March 1, 1994 he married Bonnie Young; she survives of the home. Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Sue Hoffine of St. Louis, Missouri and Travis and Kristi Hoffine of Cazenovia, Wisconsin; three daughters and one son-in-law, Jan McDaniel of Kansas, Diane & Stan Friesen of Buffalo, New York and Kimberly Habben of Omaha, Nebraska; one stepson, Jeff Young of Sikeston; three brothers, Ray Hoffine, Homer Hoffine and Jimmy Hoffine; five sisters, Rita Cummings, Rosemary Woodson, Ruth Ann Bolton, Margie Cramer and Carol Hearne; and eleven grandchildren. One brother preceded him in death. Pallbearers will be: Ray Redoer, Dustin Friesen, Mike Henson, Lynell DeWitt, Gary Warner, Jeff York, Doug Hoffine and Jeff Limbaugh. Honorary pallbearers will be: Colton Young, Ashton Young, Shelly Hoffine, Monica Hoffine, Sophia Hoffine, Heidi Friesen, Courtney Hoffine, Kerrigan Hoffine and Brandon Hoffine.
