Two Men And One Woman Injured When Car Turns Over on Lincoln Ave. Sunday afternoon--Men Intoxicated Drove Too Fast. C.E. DOLL of this city, Fred COX of the X I Ranch, near Plains and Mrs. Oscar GEER of Plains, sustained slight injuries Sunday afternoon at about three o'clock, when their car turned over at the corner of First Street and Lincoln avenue, throwing them all to the pavement. The accident occured a block west of the Carson House. They were driving west and turned north when the tip over came. Both men were intoxicated. The three were rushed to a downtown hospital where their injuries were dressed. Mr. Doll received a cut on the back of his head; Mr. Fox had a sprained shoulder and Mrs. Geer dislocated her left wrist. All were badly shaken up bruised and cut by bits of flying glass. Mr. Doll recovered sufficiently to go to his home last night but the other two are still in the hospital. The car was a Ford roadster and belonged to the X I ranch. It was demolished. C.E. Doll was standing on the running board of the machine and Mrs. Fox was driving when they made the sharp curve going at a terrific rate of speed and it is a wonder all were not killed outright.
