Elton Brown, Hardesty, Suffers Accidental Gunshot Wound. Elton Leon BROWN, 13 year old son of Mrs. Marie BROWN of Hardesty, Okla., was brought to Epworth hospital Friday night with a severe gunshot wound in the abdomen, received when his rifle was accidentally discharged. The bullet entered the upper part of the boy's abdomen and passed through his body, lodging in the lower part of his back. The bullet was not removed. According to the reports of the accident, the boy had been hunting and when he was taking his rifle from some articles in the pickup, it caught and as he jerked it, the rifle discharged.
