Last Monday morning while the 7th Cavalry was disarming Big Foot's Band of 120 Indians, near Wounded Knee River in Nebraska, suddenly the treacherous red rascals began firing on the troops. The fire was soon returned, with the result after an hour's fighting, of 92 to 130 dead Indians, and many bucks, squaws and pappooses, wounded, and about 30 soldiers killed, including Capt. WALLACE, and 14 wounded, including Lieut. GARLINGTON.
