Fred GOOCH, a little boy, was taken to a local hospital the first of the week, for treatment after being severely burned with gunpowder. It is stated that he with some other boys were playing with gunpowder, having dug a hole in the ground and placed a pipe filled with the powder in the ground and lit it.
