A butcher by the name of GREER and an auctioneer named McCARTNEY, both of
Marion, Kansas, had been at enmity for some time, and one day last week they met
on the street, armed with a couple of hot guns and a full jag of whiskey. After
a few words had been spoken Greer was a dead man and the quarrel was ended.
