Miss Mabel Weisshaar Receives Fractured Jaw in Auto Crash. Miss Mabel WEISSHAAR, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Weisshaar, of Turpin, Okla., was brought to Epworth hospital Friday night with a fracture of the jaw in an auto crash on Highway 64, eight miles east of Hooker, Okla, at 9:30 that evening. Olin PAYTON of Hooker, Okla., was taking Miss Weishaar to her home when they came upon a car belonging to Will Witzke of Turpin. Witzke had parked on the highway while putting on his mud chains. According to reports of the accident, it was raining and Payton saw the car ahead but thought it was moving, and collided with it. Payton escaped with a slight cut on the forehead. His coupe was badly wrecked. Witzke was clear of the cars and not injured. (Note: Weisshaar and Weishaar typed as printed in newspaper.)
