Thursday afternoon Liberal folks were treated to some real, old fashioned excitement, when a team hitched to a farm wagon ran through the streets at break-neck speed. The team started on east Second and ran west to Lincoln where the wagon struck a water plug. The wagon was thrown several feet into the air and utterly demolished. No one was in the wagon and we were unable to learn the name of the owner. It was very fortunate that on serious consequences followed as the street was filled with the cars at the time. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/seward/newspapers/oldfashi337nw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.2 Kb
