PERSONAL INFORMATION: William G. "Bill" Bolton, 72, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at his home in Fort Scott. He was born on April 17, 1935, to E. Phil and Gladys Hazel Metzger Bolton on the family farm near Council Grove. He married Patricia Anne Tipling Aug. 23, 1959, in Muscotah. He served in the United States Navy from 1954 until 1960. SURVIVED BY: His wife survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Kathryn Renee Bradford and husband, Merl, Riverside, Mo., and Constance Zoe Townzen and husband, Darren, Rogers, Ark.; four grandchildren, Andrew and Emily Bradford and Laura and Daniel Townzen; and one brother, Albert G. Bolton, Kansas City, Kan. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, George and Gene Bolton. FUNERAL AND BURIAL INFORMATION: Funeral services were at the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Scott with the Rev. Steve MacArthur presiding. Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Scott.
