C.A. Brewington, Resident Here Several Years, a Pneumonia Victim. C.A. BREWINGTON, 52, for a number of years a resident of Liberal, passed away in a hospital in Los Angeles, California yesterday, according to word received by relatives. Mr. Brewington had been ill only a few days, having been taken to the hospital Thursday with pneumonia. Mr. and Mrs. Brewington lived here for about ten years before going to California six years ago. He was a barber in both the Tom Horton and the L.C. Chamberlain shops during their residence in Liberal, and had been following his trade in California. He leaves his wife, two sons and three daughters, Raymond Brewington, and Mrs. Berton DUBOIS of Liberal; C.W. Brewington and Mrs. George GALLAWAY, Los Angeles; Mrs. George WELCH, Hutchinson. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Brewington and daughter Jane and Mrs. Berton DUBOIS and two children, Maxine and Berton L. left this morning for Los Angeles to attend the funeral.
