Chapman Laid To Rest Sunday. Charles CHAPMAN, eldest son of Eli Chapman of this city, passed away at his home in Texhoma, Okla., Thursday following an extended illness. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Texhoma Saturday morning and interment made beside his wife, who died three years ago. Mr. Chapman lived here several years ago. He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Van BROWN of Texhoma, Okla., his father, Eli Chapman of Liberal and three brothers, Elmer Chapman, Liberal; Fred Chapman of Canon City, Colo., and Jesse Chapman, Albuquerque, N.M. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Chapman and Eli Chapman went to Texhoma to attend the funeral. The other brothers had been there recently.
