Deceased came here from Newton a few weeks ago and took a claim, and at the time he was taken sick he was employed in the Owl printing office. He was apparently in good health and seemed to be sure of long life, but the fatal fever came upon him, and soon clouded his bright young mind. For two weeks he suffered, part of which time his mother was with him, she having been summoned from her home in Newton to attend his dying bed. At about five o'clock on Sunday evening he died, surrounded by many friends he had made since he came here. His funeral occurred at 11 o'clock Monday, services conducted by Rev. Clark of the Presbyterian church. To the widowed and now childless mother we extend our heartfelt sympathy in this her dark hour of affliction. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/seward/obits/c/corlett2076ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
