Mother of Two Liberal Ladies Died Today.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold SMITH, 214 West Second, are leaving today for Walton, Kans.,
on receipt of word of the passing of Mrs. Smith's mother, Mrs. Joe FLICKNER,
this morning. Mrs. Flickner has been seriously ill for some time and Mrs. Smith
has been at her bedside from time to time.

There at the time of her passing was another daughter, Mrs. John SIEMENS of east
Liberal. Mr. Siemens and their twin sons, will go to Walton Sunday for funeral
services. Mrs. Flickner has visited here a number of times.
