Logan NM Quay co, d. Liberal KS, S/O Alfonso Sr. and Geneva Ulibarri Flores. He attended Liberal High School. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. He received three Bronze Stars, two Purple Hearts, Korean Service Medal, Overseas Bar, and a United Nations Service Medal. He worked at Gompers, a school for the handicapped children for 20 years. He also worked as a security guard for Wells Fargo for the past ten years. He was a musician for 20 years, an original member of the Wanda Jackson and the Party Timers. He was well known throughout the country music industry as a member of the Catalinas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Alfred Flores and John Richard Flores I.
