Mrs. Alice Haddon Succumbs to Long Illness at Home Near Plains, Sunday. Mrs. Alice HADDON, 74 passed away at her home three miles west and four miles north of Plains shortly after noon Sunday, June 30, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church in Plains, but the date has not yet benn set, awaiting word from a son who lives in Connecticut. Interment will be made beside her husband in the Plains cemetery. The Miller Mortuary being in charge. Mrs. Haddon has been a resident of the Plains community for the past 14 years, coming there from Eastern Kansas. Her husband, Joe Haddon, passed away in 1927. Mrs. Haddon was a member of the Plains Methodist church. She is survived by six sons, two of whom are well known farmers in the Plains area, and one daughter. They are: Clarence Haddon, Longton, Kansas; Earl Haddon of Plains; John Haddon, of Cedar Ridge, Colorado; Ray Haddon, of New Haven, Connecticutt; Dewey Haddon, Ellinwood; Oscar Haddon of Plains and Mrs. James WILSON, HUDSON.
