Friends here have been notified of the death of Mrs. Oscar A. HALE, old time resident of the southwest, which occurred at her home at 37 Frederick St., Santa Cruz, Calif., on May 13. Mrs. Hale will be remembered by the older residents here as Nellie BLAKE, daughter of E.B. Blake, pioneer resident of the Southwest. She lived with her parents on their ranch near Liberal and following her marriage, she and her husband established their home near Tyrone, Okla. Surviving are her husband, and an adopted daughter, Mrs. Alice RYDER and two grandchildren, Darrell and Jackie of 37 Frederick St., Santa Cruz. She also leaves two brothers, John Blake of Hooker, Okla., and Al Blake, for years a businessman here, who now lives at Van Nuys, Calif.
