Rev. Powell To Conduct Service At The Methodist Church. Funeral services for T.F. HOPKINS of Liberal, who passed away Friday night in Mineral Wells, Tex., will be conducted here at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon by Rev. Roxie Powell. Interment will be made in the family lot in the Liberal cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the Campbell-Buckley Funeral Home, 514 Kansas avenue, until the hour of the service. Mr. and Mrs. Hopkins had driven to Mineral Wells on Monday of last week, expecting to spend some time there for the benefit of his health. He was able to drive his car through and after a few days there seemed to be improving and felt that he was going to be greatly benefitted. The end came unexpectedly Friday evening at 5 o'clock. Mrs. Hopkins accompanied the remains by train, arriving Sunday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph GORDON of Columbia, Mo., Mrs. Anna HALL and her daughter Mrs. Leon NATION of Fort Scott drove through from their homes, arriving just a few minutes before Mrs. HOPKINS' train arrived in Liberal. Mrs. Gordon and Mrs. Hall are sisters of Mrs. Hopkins.
