Buster W. Keeton, 60, died Monday, June 27, 2005, at Southwest Medical Center.
He was born May 22, 1945, to Raymond Wesley and Thelma I. Howerton Keeton in
Fairview, Okla. He married Connie S. King June 7, 1964, in Liberal. She
survives. He graduated from Liberal High School in 1963. He worked in the oil
fields for Bud's Tubing Crew and later as a machinist for Cabot Corp. of Pampa,
Texas. He and his wife bought and operated King's Pit Bar B Q in 1976. He was a
member of the Kansas Restaurant Association and the NRA. His hobbies included
hunting, fishing, skiing and golfing. Other survivors include his mother; his
stepmother, Norma Keeton, Fairview, Okla.; one son, Brian Keeton, San Francisco;
one daughter, Michelle Jensen, and husband John, Edmond, Okla.; two
grandchildren, Connor Wesley and Isabella Jensen; five brothers, Bill Keeton and
wife Joan, Mike Aylward and wife Veda, all of Fairview, Okla., Terry Keeton and
wife Kathy, Liberal, Brad Keeton and wife Cindy, Perry, Okla., and Chris Keeton
and wife Deborah, Woodward, Okla., and three sisters, Shirley Walcott and
husband Bud, Amarillo, Texas, Pat Burke and husband Loy, Laverne, Okla., and
Janice Harp and husband Ted, Pawnee, Okla. He was preceded in death by by his
father. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with the
Rev. David Bagwell presiding. Burial will be in Liberal Cemetery. Friends may
call until 8 p.m. today and from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Miller Mortuary.
