She was born Jan. 22, 1919, to Charley and Ethel G. Hopewell Killingsworth in Worth County, Mo. She graduated FROM Liberal High School in 1937. She worked at Fairmont Creamery, which became Fairmont Foods, for 19 and a half years. Later, she was secretary for the Blakemore Brothers and for Western Power for 27 years and retired in 1984. She was a member of the New Hope Church (First Church of God), where she served as president of WCG, BPW, South Medical Center Auxiliary, was involved with the Community Concert and served as Sunday school secretary. Survivors include one brother, Clarence Killingsworth, Hutchinson; one sister, Bessie Keen, Liberal; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Dale Killingsworth. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the New Hope (First Church of God) with the Rev. Larry McCall presiding.
