PERSONAL INFORMATION: Hannah Koehn, 95, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at Bethel Home Inc. in Montezuma. She was born March 30, 1912, to Ben D. and Susie (Unruh) Schmidt in Galva. She married Pete B. Koehn Dec. 21, 1930, in Montezuma. He died Feb. 7, 1994. SURVIVED BY: Survivors include three sons, Lewie Koehn and wife, Arleeta, Monterey, Tenn., and Frank Koehn and wife, Jeannie, Lamar, Mo., and Ardell Koehn and wife, Erlene, Burrton; one daughter, Marlene Decker and husband, Ben, Walker, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; 32 greatgrandchildren; 10 great-greatgrandchildren; four brothers, Edwin Schmidt, Harry Schmidt and wife, Stella, John Schmidt and Benn Schmidt, all of Montezuma; three sisters, Luella Harms, Elizabeth F. Koehn and Irene Koehn, all of Montezuma; two daughters-inlaw, Marcella Koehn and Carol Koehn; and many relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Chester Koehn and Vernon Koehn; one grandson, Travis Koehn; two brothers, Elmer Schmidt and Jesse Schmidt; and three sisters, Mable Koehn, Leona Yost and Dessie Koehn. FUNERAL AND BURIAL INFORMATION: Funeral services were at Montezuma North Mennonite Church with Harold Koehn, Edward Classen and Charles Schmidt presiding. Burial will be at the North Mennonite Cemetery in Montezuma.
