Maupin, Jean (Dowdy)
Birth:  Nov. 7, 1922
Death:  Aug. 19, 2006

Born Liberal KS, died Guymon, Okla. D/O Oscar Thomas and LaUna (Foltz) Dowd. 
She married Bob Maupin Aug. 18, 1941, in Hutchinson. He died Sept. 17, 1995. 
She was a member of the Panhandle Bible Center in Guymon, the Rose Garden Club,
the Guymon Community Theater and the No Man's Land Senior Citizens Center. She
was also a state and lifetime member of the Garden Club and was a member of the
Order of the Eastern Star for more than 50 years. She was also involved with
family, church and community activities, such as Loaves and Fishes, Oaks of
Mamre, and other volunteer jobs, including department supervisor at the
Tri-State Fair in ceramics and crafts for 12 years.  She was also preceded in
death by her parents; one daughter, Paulette Keeter; and one sister, JoAnn Franz.
