R. MORTIMER passed on to the eternal home last Sunday night at 11:30 o'clock. She had only been sick eight days, and the death came as a shock to everyone. Her childhood home was at Carbon, Indiana. She was 36 years of age at the time of her death. She was married to W.R. Mortimer, on April 14, 1908, and to this union three little boys are left motherless. They are, Ralph, Hubert and Neil, who is not four years old. The family have lived here nearly five years, Mr. Mortimer being the Rock Island agent here until a few months ago when he resigned. Mrs. Mortimer was a member of the Eastern Star here. Mr. Mortimore accompanied the body to Carbon, Indiana, Monday, on No. 2, where the Eastern Star and Masons will conduct the last sad rites of one who was beloved by everyone. Great respect was shown our business men and the grain dealers and depot force and other citizens with a contribution of $65.00 for flowers, which will be placed on her casket. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/seward/obits/m/mortimer2226ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
