Mrs. T.L. Murphy Passed Away Sunday Following Long Illness. Mrs. Effa May MURPHY, age 76, wife of T.L. Murphy, died at her home in Plains Sunday afernoon, following a year's illness. Funeral services are being held at the Catholic church in Plains Tuesday by Father Stock and interment is being made in the Plains cemetery, in charge of the Miller Mortuary. Mr. and Mrs. Murphy came to Plains in 1904, homesteading a few miles southeast and residing there until last October when they moved to Plains to be nearer medical attention. Mrs. Murphy was a member of the Catholic church. Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Esther MARLOW of Meade, and four sons, Herbert Murphy of Springfield, Colo.; Edward Murphy, Moline, Ill.; Claude Murphy, of Wichita; and Earl Murphy, Dodge City.
