Nicholson, Alva R.
Birth:  6-2-1922
Death:  9-15-2005

b. Green Castle MO Sullivan co, d. Liberal ks, S/O Roscoe C. and Levina J.
(Mead) Nicholson. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States
Army. He farmed and was a carpenter in Illinois before moving to Liberal in
1974. He worked for Mead Hardware and later Stephen's Dairy for many years
before retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Worldwide Church of God,
Hugoton, VFW Lane Day Post No. 3166 and the American Legion. He was preceded in
death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters. H/O Doris P. Nicholson
