Death:  5/2/2005

Vera D. Ross, 70, died Monday, May 2, 2005, at Via Christi Regional Medical
Center, St. Francis Campus in Wichita. She was born April 4, 1935, to K.J. and
Clarise (Tucker) McCullough at Cameron, Texas. She married John Ross in 1950
inLubbock, Texas. He preceded her in death. Survivors include six sons, Ricky
Ross, Robert Ross, Bobby Ross, John Ross III, William Ross and Jerry Ross, all
of Wichita; four daughters, Pauline White, Lubbock, Texas, JoAnn Ross, Shirley
Love and Sandra Ross, all of Wichita; 23 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren;
three sisters, Beatrice Felts, Wichita, Mildred McCullough, Wichita, and Carolyn
Johnson, Overland Park; and many relatives and friends. She was also preceded in
death by her parents and one great grandson. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bible Way Church of God in Christ
in Liberal with Pastor Joe Gilkey and Pastor Charles Devorce presiding. Burial
will be in Liberal Cemetery.
