George SMITH, 63, night watchman at the McBee Implement company, died yesterday afternoon in a Liberal hospital where he had been ill since Dec. 20. Smith's health had been failing for more than a year prior to his entering the hospital here. Until moving to Liberal about a year ago, Smith had lived at Hugoton. At one time he operated a fee store there. He died at 4:35 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Funeral services will be in charge of a Hugoton mortuary.
