PERSONAL INFORMATION: Dorothy L. (Rasler) Staples, 83, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007, at her home in Hugoton. She was born March 30, 1924, to Otho Everette and Hulda Jane (Michael) Rasler in rural Seward County. She married Henry "Hank" Merle Staples Sept. 9, 1944, in Liberal. SURVIVED BY: Her husband survives. She is also survived by one sister, Donna Bell Sutton, Hugoton; and many nephews, nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jack Ray Staples; one brother, Clarence Olin Rasler; and two sisters, Goldie Kerns and Norma Heston. FUNERAL AND BURIAL INFORMATION: Funeral service will be at the Assembly of God Church in Hugoton with the Rev. Robert Bailey presiding. Burial will be in the Hugoton Cemetery.
