Mrs. C.C. Thomas Laid To Rest in the Tyrone Cemetery. Funeral services for Mrs. C.C. Thomas of Tyrone, Okla., were held in the Methodist church at Tyrone Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The singers were W.N. Wadley, Mrs. Basil Albright, Miss Josephine Speakman and S.L. Massie, and Mrs. Myrl Bowers was the pianist. Interment was made in the Tyrone cemetery, in charge of the Miller Mortuary. The pall bearers were Eddie Roth, B.C. Rist, J.B. Carpenter, Ernest Carpenter, B.B. French, and Creel Gantt. Mary Emma Bordern THOMAS was born September 17, 1886 at Pittsburg, Ia. She was married to C.C. Thomas on April 23, 1891. To this union were born two sons, one son having preceded her in death. Surviving are her husband, C.C. Thomas, a son, Eugene Thomas of Dallas, Tex., six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas moved to this country 38 years ago. Mrs. Thomas united with the Baptist church at the age of about twelve. (Note: Typed as printed in newspaper.)
