John W. Timberlake, Retired Farmer, Dies at Home in Plains Today. John W. TIMBERLAKE, age 72, retired farmer, died at his home in Plains early this morning, July 5, following a heart attack. Mr. Timberlake had been in failing health for past two years. The time for the funeral has not been set, awaiting word from relatives in Missouri. The Miller Mortuary of this city is in charge. Mr. Timberlake and family moved to Plains in 1916 form Stratford, Texas, and farmed there until ten years ago when they moved to Plains. Mr. Timberlake was a member of the Christian church at Plains and had been an officer in the church for several years. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge at Plains. Surviving him are his wife and one son, Roy Timberlake of Dalhart, Texas.
