PERSONAL INFORMATION: Donald L. Vangieson, 77, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal. He was born July 24, 1930, to Roy and Erma Lucy (Tripp) Vangieson in Liberal. He married Dorothy M. Wilson Feb. 13, 1955, in Liberal. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. SURVIVED BY: His wife survives. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He is also survived by one son, Max Vangieson and wife, Tina, Liberal; one daughter, Cindy Hall and husband, David, Liberal; four grandchildren, Gabrielle Hall, Rachel Vangieson, Matthew Schneweis, and Ashley Schneweis; and one sister, Jean McDaniel, Salina. He was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Carpenter. FUNERAL AND BURIAL INFORMATION: Graveside services will be at Restlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Hathaway presiding.
