PERSONAL INFORMATION: Lyle W. Widler, 70, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, at his home in Sublette. He was born Oct. 13, 1936, to Fred and Bertha Adele (Roberts) Widler in Newton. He married Candace Kay Freeman on Feb. 27, 1961, in Alva, Okla. He served his country in the Army National Guard during the Korean conflict. SURVIVED BY: His wife survives. He is also survived by three daughters, Tammy Holman, Chase County, Tracy Rogers and husband, Kim, Satanta, Toni Martin and husband, Todd, Sublette; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Billy Widler, Cedar Point; and four sisters, Myrtle Jackson, El Dorado, BettyPruitt, Derby, June Starkel, McPherson, and Joan Kelsheimer, Cedar Point. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lester and Richard Widler; and one sister, Mildred Frisbee. FUNERAL AND BURIAL INFORMATION: Military graveside services will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Florence with Minister Dallas Evans presiding. Burial will follow services.
