PERSONAL INFORMATION: Roy "Tom" Winters, 52, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2007, at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City. He was born July 26, 1955, to Edward and Faye (Hance) Winters in Phillipsburg. He married Cindy Morris on July 29, 1995, in Ulysses. SURVIVED BY: His wife survives. He is also survived by his father, Grover, Colo.; his mother and step-father, Bob Stitzel, Osborn; two sons, John and Chance Winters, Calahan, Colo.; one daughter, Heather Winters, Calahan; one brother, Bodie Winters, Joliet, Mont.; two sisters, Michelle DeSaveur, Red Lodge, Mont., and Bonnie Winters, Arcadia, Neb.; and his grandmother, Nita Hance Eaton, Osborne. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Debra and Sierra Winters; grandparents, Lena Winters, Tom Winters and Roy Hance; and step-grandfather, Earl Eaton. FUNERAL AND BURIAL INFORMATION: Funeral services will be at Fields Memorial Weslyan Church in Johnson with the Rev. Dave Kaufmann and the Rev. Richard Stafford presiding.
